Matthew WF Wells
FOUNDER / DIRECTOR / EDITOR
Being a classically trained Cinematographer Matthew’s visual aesthetic can bring any story to life to accomplish agency & client expectations.
His own story into the business all started with a job as a deckhand on a superyacht. This unique opportunity led Matthew to the great city of San Francisco by virtue of a gift of formal education in film & advertising while at the same time gaining fundamental production experience by crewing & filming short films, music videos, feature films, commercials around different parts of California. Along with directing, shooting & editing advertising content for creative agencies in both LA & SF.
Returning home to Australia in 2016. Matthew then slotted into production crews & worked on award-winning short films, tv shows & commercials. While building a base of advertising, corporate & lifestyle TV clientele that motivated the launch of Good Well Productions in the Sydney market.
Matthew’s free time is immersed in photography, acting, travel, design, music, culture, pushing boundaries, and motivating others around me to experience everything. Currently, he’s working on lifestyle tv, narrative, commercials, documentary, music videos, and branded content.
